Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-05-07T16:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Activity ID: 2024-05-07T16:12:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Source Location: S19W06
Active Region Number: 13664
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
GAP: Data gap
HAL: Halo CME
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
PEA: Post eruption arcade
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
L: Loop
Note: Faint CME with multuple fuzzy fronts to the south in SOHO LASCO C2 and C3 coronagraphs. It is covered for the large part by the data gap in STEREO A. The gap ends on 2024-05-08T01:53Z, after which the slowly propagating front of this CME is seen in STEREO A coronagraph. The source of this CME could be Active Region 3664 (S19W08) which was displaying some minor ongoing activity at the time, as signified by very minor dimmings and minor post-eruptive arcades.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Analysis based on the best fit of the front in two coronagraphs. The fit corresponds well to the location of Active Region 13664 at the time, confirming it as a likely source. |
