Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-04-07T19:00Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Activity ID: 2024-04-07T19:00:00-CME-001 (version 3)
Note Keyword:
DPL: CME exhibits dimpled front
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
GAP: Data gap
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
OS: Other and Shock Candidate
Note: Very faint CME with a fuzzy front and possibly a wider, also faint, shock front. The CME is fully covered by the night-time data gap in STEREO A. A source for this CME has not been found on the Earth-facing disk. A farsided source may be indicated by the slight movement of field lines in the southeast, as seen in SDO AIA 171 starting at 2024-04-08T18:45Z.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

The CME is fully covered by the data gap in STEREO A and its source has not been found of the Earth-facing disk. There is a coronal signature indicating a farsided source. In this case we cannot make a deliberation about its longitude, so only a plane-of-sky measurement is possible. |
