Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-03-14T05:08Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-03-14T05:08:00-CME-001 (version 3)
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
HAL: Halo CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Faint CME with a dimpled fuzzy bult front and an even fainter wider shock. Its source is likely a prominence eruption from the source behind the east limb. There is a relatively narrow ejecta seen in GOES SUVI 304 and SDO AIA 304/171/193 at 2024-03-14T07:24Z. Former Active Region 13590 is now at the longitude of about -115 deg and could be a source of this CME.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Analysis based on the fit with two coronagraphs and fitting the location of the former Active Region 13590 as the possible source of the ejecta seen from behind the east limb. This active region is now at the longitude of -115 degrees. |
1: Result 1 (2.0 AU)
