Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-03-10T18:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
Activity ID: 2024-03-10T18:12:00-CME-001 (version 4)
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
GAP: Data gap
Source Signature Keyword:
Morphology Keyword:
L: Loop
Note: Extremely faint western partial halo CME which can only be seen in SOHO LASCO C2 difference imagery b/c of its faintness. The CME is fully covered by a data gap in STEREO A. No clear source has been found on disk, with the exception of a very narrow ejecta directed towards AR 3605 as seen in AIA 193 which either gets reabsorbed or has indeed left the sun.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
