Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-02-14T04:09Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Activity ID: 2024-02-14T04:09:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Note Keyword:
3P: 3-part structure CME
HAL: Halo CME
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Partial halo CME directed to the SW in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and STEREO A COR2. The source is believed to be on the far side, as an opening field lines and an EUV wave visible in SDO AIA 171 starting at 2024-02-14T03:51Z. EUV wave is best seen in SDO AIA 193 and GOES SUVI 284. The eruption is faintly seen in STEREO A EUV 195 beyond the SW limb. A possible candidate Active Region is AR 3575, which rotated off of the Earth-facing disk on 2024-02-07 and produced several M-class flares during its time on the disk.

Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
