Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-01-11T08:48Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-01-11T08:48:00-CME-001 (version 3)
Source Location: N07E58
Note Keyword:
3P: 3-part structure CME
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
PRM: Prominence material (filamentary structures)
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
DFLR: Double ribbon flare
PEA: Post eruption arcade
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: CME seen to the NE in all coronagraphs. Source is a thin filament eruption near the eastern limb, best observed in SDO AIA 304 as long, thin brightening spanning approximately N18E55 to S07E61 beginning at 2024-01-11T08:03Z. A double ribbon flare is present in SDO AIA 304 and a post-eruptive arcade is visible staring around 2024-01-11T08:12Z. Additionally observed well as opening field lines in SDO AIA 171, and a C4.1 flare in SDO AIA 131 which peaked at 2024-01-11T08:20Z.

Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
