Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2023-05-04T10:38Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2023-05-04T10:38:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
COL: Possible collision with previous CME
DPL: CME exhibits dimpled front
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
GAP: Data gap
HAL: Halo CME
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
PRM: Prominence material (filamentary structures)
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Faint partial halo seen best in STEREO A COR2 with fronts to the northwest, southwest, and northeast. Its leading edge to the east is obscured/behind another CME, 2023-05-04T09:09Z which is also to the east. Flickering field lines are observed to the NE in SDO 193 and to the south and east in GOES 284 imagery right near 09:00Z.

Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
